Our Arizona LifeLine program started providing Air-Medical Services to Southern Arizona on August 1, 1995.

The 10 year relationship with Carondelet Health Network has been one of great value to the region.

We are extremely proud to be serving the citizens of Southern Arizona.



Public Notice

The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems will conduct an accreditation site visit of Life Air Rescue on March 1st, 2nd and 3rd of 2010.

The purpose of the site visit will be to evaluate the program’s compliance with nationally established medical transport standards.  The site visit results will be used to determine whether, and the condition s under which accreditation should be awarded to the program.

CAMTS accreditation standards deal with issues of patient care and safety of the transport environment.   Anyone believing that he or she has pertinent or valid information about such matters may request a public information interview with the CAMTS site surveyors at the time of the site visit.  Information presented at the interview will be carefully evaluated for relevance to the accreditation process.  Requests for public information interviews must be made in writing and sent to CAMTS no later than 5 business days before the site survey begins.  The request should also indicate the nature of the information to be provided during the interview.  Such request should be addressed to:

The Commission will acknowledge such written requests in writing or by telephone and will, in turn, notify the interviewee of the date, time and place of the meeting.

The notice is posted in accordance with the CAMTS requirements and may not be removed until the site visit is completed.

This program's name is a "DBA" for Med-Trans Corporation (Med-Trans), an FAA Part 135 certificate holder and operator. Accordingly, all transportation by air that is done by this program is, in fact, done by Med-Trans. All aircraft and flights are under the operational control of Med-Trans, and all operations by this program are conducted under Med-Trans' operations specifications (OpSpecs). Med-Trans has the responsibility for ensuring this program's aircraft(s) are airworthy and are in compliance with its FAA-approved inspection/maintenance program. Med-Trans has specified the conditions under which flight may be operated. All flight crewmembers at this program that are assigned to a flight by Med-Trans are qualified, and have been trained under Med-Trans' approved training program.
